Promotion of knowledge exchange among urban horticulturists in agroecological transition of the Sector Bela Vista in Gurupi-TO

Abstract

The present work promoted an exchange of knowledge as the proposal of extension - communication for small horticulturists in transition
to the agroecological population in the Bela Vista sector in Gurupi-TO. In the first exchange of knowledge were carried out and
conversations on indicators of soil quality and fertilization strategies and realization of a biofertilizer practice and capture of
microorganisms in an efficient way, the first exchange was approached in the theme as the obtaining of a high ecological yield in
the agroecosystem, the recognition of the main "losses and infestations, discussed as the horticultural control guidelines and the
preparation of repellent extract. The third exchange of knowledge was put into practice as techniques discussed in previous exchanges.
The exchange of knowledge has increased the theoretical and practical understanding of agroecological management practices, which can
lead to an economy of production, better use of inputs and a production of healthy foods.
