Interrelationships between PNGATI and PNAPO in the context of indigenous peoples

This work consists of presenting and discussing interface between Política Nacional de Gestão
Territorial e Ambiental de Terras Indígenas (PNGATI) and Política Nacional de Agroecologia
e Produção Orgânica (PNAPO), considering the context of action and elaboration with the
Brazilian indigenous peoples and focus in the sustainability of their territories. For that, a documentary
analysis of materials related to PNGATI and PNAPO was carried out, using elements
of four analytical approaches of public policies: neomarxist, network, neoinstitutionalism and
cognitive. The agroecological public policies, highlighted here by PNGATI and PNAPO, show
syntonies and dissonances in the challenge of implementing activities that aim at the well-
-being and sustainability of the Indigenous Lands.
