Abstract

This report presents the experience of Bahian Articulation of Agroecology – AABA and the
Advisory Service for Popular and Rural Organizations – SASOP on political incidence in Bahia
State Government for construction of a public call of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension
– ATER, in order to increase the Agroecology at the Bahia state. It also should serves as
a parameter and model for future public calls inaugurating what is categorized in this report as
the third generation’s calls of the state. ATER, as an articulator of a set of others family farming
policies, and a potential facilitator of territorial dynamics, requires a deep transformation in its
conception and an improvement in its form of regulation and operationalization. At this moment,
we have the opportunity to qualify ATER’s services by focusing on the construction of a
public call that will boost and allow the agroecological transition in bahian territories.
