Abstract

The objective of the present work is to report the experiences with the management conversion of the Cochos Farm in Varginha / MG, starting from the implantation of four cultivated areas with Biodiversal Agroforestry Systems (SAF) between January 2017 and May 2019. It has as an initial milestone the 8th Mutirão de Implantação de Horta Sintrópica carried out by the Network of Agroecology and Solidary Economy. The implanted area incubated resources and recognition for the planting of other SAFs in the property. There was good sanitation of the crops, with occasional difficulties in the vegetables, and particularly with leaf-cutting ants. So far, six field days have been carried out for participatory certification with transversal walks, exchanges of experiences and verification of compliance of organic management. There is the intention to reduce and eliminate the use of pesticides in the unit as a whole.
