Abstract

The project Network for agroecological transition with multiplier effect of permaculture in the city was developed in Recife and Metropolitan Region in three distinct territories, two of them located in the Várzea do Capibaribe neighborhood and the third in the Altos do Morumbi allotment in the Environmental Preservation Area (APA) Aldeia-Beberibe. The main objectives of the project were the creation of a Reference Unit in Agroecology and the articulation / identification of the Network of Urban Graduates of the Technical Course in Agroecology of the Alternative Technology Service. The project was implemented through a cycle of technical-pedagogical workshops in Agroecology and environmental education with emphasis on the construction of low-cost social technologies and easy replicability. The activities were oriented on the precepts of Popular Education and use of participatory methodologies.
