Abstract

This work presents the experience of training and training of ATER agents, a partnership between
the Municipal Secretariat, two Federal universities, a research center, a 30-hour course.
The objective was to sensitize and involve extension technicians for the formation and
management of agroforestry systems with a group of family farmers. The Tomé Açú campus
was attended by farmers, farmers, extension agents, municipal agriculture secretaries and
research centers. A result based on the interface theory and practical experience was the
construction of understandings for a new dialectic interconnecting commerce and quality of
life, commitments with the thematic, as well as the concern with new actions for continuity of
the discussions and the construction of a prosperous panorama for the society.
