Abstract

This paper presents data on the production and sale of agroecological products for the Food
Acquisition Program (PAA) and the National School Meal Program (PNAE) resulting from a
research where 214 farmers from nine settlement areas were interviewed. The data were submitted
to multivariate analysis and generated the dendrogram and biplot graphic presented
below. The use of multivariate analysis aimed to establish similarities between the settlements
surveyed and contribute to the understanding of the determinants that influence the adoption of
a practice or the access to a certain public policy program. It is interesting to note that, in this
study, there is not a significant difference between the two settlements that were created as a
Sustainable Development Project (PDS) and the others.
