Evaluation of socio-environmental public policies within the territory of the citizenship of Baixo Tocantins-Pará

The present work deals with the analysis of a socio-environmental public policy focused on
family agriculture, with the main focus being the municipality of Igarapé-Miri, Baixo Tocantins,
Pará. The objective is to contribute to the reflection about the problem involving the mediation
networks Around the socio-environmental public policies aimed at family production in
the region. In this specific case, the National Program of Access to Technical Education and
Employment (PRONATEC), specifically the PRONATEC field, was presented, which presents
technical training geared to productive topics and (Such as training courses in Agroecology,
Fisheries, Apiculture, etc.), aimed at young children of farmers. The research is based on the
methods of the social sciences, giving priority to qualitative research, using the method of
case study through semi-structured interviews using questionnaire and field diary. The results
indicate data related to the PRONATEC field in Igarapé-Miri, based on the discussion of the
profile, identity, difficulties and opinions of the students about the course of Pisciculture and
also indicate the discussion about the relationship between the content taught And socio-environmental
public policies aimed at family agriculture. Finally, based on the analysis of this type of situation, it is possible to reflect on the ways in which the relationship between society and
nature in the family agriculture of Baixo Tocantins take on the construction and delimitation of
socio-environmental problems, as well as the elements that Circulate and give cohesion to the
constitution of such relations based on public policies.
