Uma visão da trajetória da Rede Sergipana de Agroecologia

Abstract

The construction of the Sergipana Network of Agroecology (RESEA) was due to the capacity of institutional and political articulation of the social subjects that compose it. The agro-ecological principles that guide this articulation have as their horizon the sovereignty and food security. The research recovers the trajectory and the actions, through secondary data, analysis of the Agroecology timeline in Sergipe and dialogue with the network. It is constituted by social movements and public institutions of research, education and extension. It is observed a work of articulation, mobilization and accomplishment of actions like agro-ecological caravans, exchanges and systematization of experiences, fairs, pedagogical facilities, articulation of research projects, formation, social organization and community politics social and political organization of communities, promoting the construction of knowledge and the proposal of public policies to strengthen Agroecology. RESEA's trajectory contributed to the consolidation of the agroecological movement in Sergipe.
