Abstract

The PAA food acquisition program is a program created by the Federal Government to encourage
family farming and also to provide quality food to groups of food insecure people. Having
as analysis space the territories of Campos de Cima da Serra and Litoral, more specifically
as object the values and percentages of the PAA for micro regions and municipalities. In the
Litoral territory it was possible to visualize that the microregion that most provides the program
is the micro region of Encosta and in the territory Campos de Cima da Serra is the Transition
microregion.
