Abstract

Located in the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Southern Minas Gerais - Campus Inconfidentes, the Agroecology sector is an area certified by the Participative System of Guarantee and conducted by the members of the Nucleus of entomology and Agroecology - Nea Raiz do Campo. The area has a wooden house and two Agroforestry Systems of different ages. The joint effort took place on March 30, where the participants volunteered to participate in the activities of bio-construction and agroforestry. The bioconstruction had activities of cutting and tying the bamboos and kneading clay. In the agroforestry system, banana pruning, weeding, opening of cribs, application of compost and insertion of banana tree trunks were carried out in the lines. The mutirão is a great tool to strengthen and disseminate agroecology in a collective and supportive way.
