Abstract

The organic production is a branch of agriculture that is increasing, due to its sustainable and environment approaches. A majority of the organic farmers of the Southern region supply comes from on small-scale family farms and reported some difficulties during the production process until the trade. The opportunities and obstacles that permeates the production were mapped across the use of bibliographic review and scientific articles published over the last ten years, where the results were classified using the FOFA matriz (Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses and Threats), finding positive and negative results in the current scenario of brazilian organic agriculture
