Abstract

The present report aims to systematize the mapping, construction and socialization of social technologies adapted to the local contexts of the Paraná coast, attributing to them an agroecological approach capable of providing the diversity, complexity, autonomy, resilience and self - sufficiency of the productive units. The "Social Technologies for the Promotion of Food Security and Sovereignty" project is developed by the Federal University of Paraná, in partnership with farmers and farmers, and has provided the construction of agro-ecological bases for the transformation and redesign of agroecosystems, as well as the think of the innovation that comes to constitute them as social technologies. In this way, the activity of replicating, improving and socializing participatory tools, technologies and methodologies capable of promoting food sovereignty and security; especially to select the potential of these technologies to promote the agroecological production of food for self consumption and income generation. It is understood that the promotion of sustainable local development presupposes the involvement and participation of social subjects in the process of analysis, problematization, discussion, creation and evaluation of local technologies.
