Abstract

The present report is derived from a research done for an undergraduate thesis (TCC), which sought to bring within the context of family farming the trajectory of two women farmers who are references in their territories of performance. The same had its development in two different settlements in Zona da Mata Sul of Pernambuco. The research sought to understand the life trajectory of two women as well as markers capable of exposing this relationship between women, family agriculture, agroecology and female empowerment. In this context, the objective of the present work was to reflect on the difficulties and learnings of the researcher in the accomplishment of the interviews for the construction of his undergraduate thesis. In this way, it was considered as difficulties to create a bond of trust between the researcher and those interviewed for the short time for the research, as well as the lack of experience of the researcher in this type of activity. However, daily living (immersion) in the routine of the protagonists is an important tool to break such barriers.
