The present work intends to analyze the pedagogical practices of the "Drum Workshop", having as reference three workshops given in the first semester of 2019, in the municipality of Seropédica - RJ. For a better discussion of the subject, we will analyze these practices from three perspectives. The first perspective involves the importance of music in the formative course of the subjects through pedagogical practices that with music affirm an education through sensitivity, as a change of reception and perception of the senses beyond the inclusion of the collective experience and subjectivity of the individual in its territory ; The second perspective of analysis is based on the reports about the "Workshop of Drums" in which teachers, students and students of the state college of the municipality participated; and finally, we have the perspective of ethnomusicology associated with the recognition of ancestry through the inheritance of black sounds in Brazil.
