Urban and Peri-urban Agriculture comprises the development of agricultural activities in the cities' space in order to constitute excellent spaces of food and environmental education. In this way, the objective of this work was to evaluate the activity of knowledge exchange between urban farmers, students and teachers of the Community Urban
vegetable Garden of the Clementino Coelho Teaching Reference School, located in Petrolina-PE. As a way to give visibility to organic and agroecological production, this work was part of a series of activities of the "I Week of Organic Agriculture, Agroecological and Food and Nutritional Security". In this work the methodology denominated carrousel was made having enabled spaces of exchange of knowledge in the vegetable garden and in the school. The activity made possible the interaction between the public involved and the farmers of the garden in order to value the origin, quality and form of production of food free of pesticides in the urban environment.
