Abstract

Environmental education is fundamental for the relationship between humans and the environment, therefone teaching the child is contributing to nature and preservation. With the insect workshop addressing everyday issues and relating to the environment, it is a way of teaching where not all insects present are bad. The objective of the work was achieved, attending 190 children of the State School Horácio Narciso de Góes, Ouro Fino - MG. The course was placed in the agroecology sector, at the IFSULDEMINAS School Farm, located in Inconfidentes, Minas Gerais. Knowledge was acquired and shared to everyone who was present and who contributed to success.
