Abstract

The bark is a residue obtained in the peeling process of cassava. The objective of this research will be to evaluate soil composition where these wastes are discarded. The research was carried out in the rural communities of the Juruá Valley - Acre. Three soil samples were collected in three flour houses for each treatment (T), totaling 36 samples, which were collected at the disposal site of the residues near the flour houses. The samples were sent to the soil laboratory of the Federal University of Viçosa - UFV, where the chemical and physical analyzes of the soil were carried out. For the data analysis, the Tukey statistical test was applied, after the SISVAR program was used and the Variance Analysis (ANOVA) at the 5% confidence level was applied.
