Abstract

This paper aims to conduct a diagnosis of the reality experienced by rural women in rural areas
in view of the degradation and devaluation as daily practices. Through interviews with women
farmers, in rural tents in the city of Quinze de Novembro and it was possible to see both the
problems faced by them, as the importance of women to the strengthening of family agriculture
and local development. The main problems are lack of, family succession and the submission
of women, and these are image reflections transmitted from late rural areas without prospects.
Therefore, it is necessary to act locally to make changes at the regional level through initiatives
such as rural tents who value the autonomy of the peasant woman working at the same time
it serves as an incentive for sustainable production and thus promote food security using the
priciples oh the Agroecology
