Abstract

This article seeks to present a discussion of the operation of Pronaf-Agroecology with funds
from North Constitutional Financing Fund - FNO, managed by BASA, provided that the line
of credit was established to the present day. The issue is relevant given the volume of funds
invested by Pronaf in the region, the guidelines established by the Bank for managing the
operation of FNO resources and socioeconomic particularity of family farming in the Amazon.
Considers that the financing of agro-ecological systems in family farming is crucial for regional
development on a sustainable basis. It was found that there is no record of transactions made
in the last three years. Such data reinforces the logic of productivity in the application of PRONAF
resources found by authors and contradicts the FNO statements about the perspective of
sustainable use of resources and the need for studies to investigate the agricultural model in
Pronaf financing in the Amazon.
