Abstract

The present work presents the experience of the project with agroextractivist women from
communities located in the Tefé National Forest (FLONA Tefé), with an approach since its creation,
development, management, results achieved and the main impacts caused in the daily life
of the beneficiaries and students of the Federal Institute of Education of Amazonas, campus
Tefé. Emphasizing the importance of the Development Boards that enable the development of
actions that allow the development of the process of agroecological formation of rural producers
in locations that are difficult to access and are not supported by the main Rural Extension
Agencies. Reinforcing the constant need to provide new sources of financial resources molded
to regional characteristics and specificities for the strengthening and sustainability of agroecological-
based production and to promote the improvement of the quality of life of family farmers
residing in Sustainable Use Units.
