Productive organization in settlements back woods pajeú: a look from the social economy and its effects on quality of life of women

Abstract

Through the work done, presents a challenging theme, both from the point of view of the
organization and the process of work in agricultural production, thematic is called solidarity
economy. Knowing that collective and cooperative work based on the agricultural production
model is not a simple activity as it may seem, was that interest in researching this subject
was aroused. Thus, we aim to analyze the organization of the work process of agricultural
production of settlements located in the Sertão of Pajeú, specifically in Serra Talhada from the
collective and cooperative work of settlers, as well as the production of organic cultivation, as
well as the quality of life of these women. The methodology used has a descriptive-exploratory
character, with quantitative qualitative nature, where a diagnosis was made with the purpose of
identifying the productive organization of the settlements, use of agroecological systems and
the WQHOOL Bref questionnaire was then applied to assess the quality of life of women in
the settlements. The data were analyzed through SPSS software version 16.0, calculation of descriptive statistics was performed by means of absolute and relative frequency distribution.
The results were organized through WHOQOL-Bref domains, where the averages were considerable.
