PROJECT "HANDS AT THE GARDEN": IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE OF THE SCHOOL GARDEN'S BY THE STUDENTS OF FEDERAL INSTITUTE FARROUPILHA - CAMPUS ALEGRETE

Abstract

The objective of this activity was to promote the extension of agroecological knowledge through school gardens in the city of Alegrete. A schedule of practical activities for the implementation of the process of production of agroecological vegetables in the school context was organized. Techniques of communication and rural extension of the students of the Technical Course in Agropecuaria of Campus Alegrete were also promoted, who were responsible for conducting the work and explored the concepts worked in the professional training disciplines.
