Abstract

Since 2008, Brazil has been one of the largest consumers of pesticides in the world. The objective of the construction of the ABRASCO Dossier was to record this ascending escalation of the use of pesticides with severe impacts on public health from the place of a non-subordinated science, through the path of dialogues and convergences of knowledge. The Dossier and its formulation process advanced to a methodological innovation in the practice of Ecology of Knowledge and to the strengthening of the Campaign against Agrochemicals and Life in different territories. The methodological proposal called "Voices of the Territories" consisted in stimulating that communities and groups affected by pesticides could tell their stories and that they received a technical-scientific contextualization of researchers from institutions close to them. The Dossier seeks to be a support for researchers, students, health workers and agriculture, as well as community leaders, as a tool to fight agroecology.
