Abstract

The purpose of this text is to report the role of women in family agriculture relations and the
decisions that involve their productive unit. A case study was conducted through an open
interview with one of the women farmers, member of the Associação das Mulheres Trabalhadoras
Rurais do Município de Belterra – Amabela. Considering that the property is inserted
in the Amazonian context, it is fundamental the management in the agroecological base, with
diversified crops. The interview conducted with agriculture contributed to the reflection on the
valorization of the feminine force in agriculture, through its engagement in the construction of
autonomy and trust.
