Abstract

The Marketing and Markets course, carried out by the Center for Incubation Popular Solidarity
Enterprises of the Federal University of Uberlândia, aimed to stimulate the construction and
application of marketing skills and markets so that the they in agroecological transition participating
in the Agroecology and Production Nucleus Organic (NEA/Cieps/UFU) can practice full
commercialization, and from then on, obtain greater returns in the markets in which they are
inserted, following the principles of the popular economy of solidarity. The methodology for development
of the course and the follow-up of practical actions was action research. The main
results were a satisfaction of the farmers to obtain knowledge on these subjects and a more
precise commercialization. From greater knowledge of the markets and how they can occupy
them, farmers have increased their degrees of influence with society, thereby bringing more
visibility to the importance and benefits of agroecological production.
