Abstract

GiraCampo UFOP is a research and action group, which carries out teaching, extension and research activities around the Field Education and Agroecology in the Territory of the Inconfidents. Its principles are actions that integrate scientific and popular knowledge, valuing and recognizing both as necessary for a transformative education. In the field of education, it has a Study Group that holds regular training meetings on different topics; Working Group focused on the construction of a Field Ed. Network in the Territory of the Inconfidents, also contributing to the training of teachers who teach in rural schools. In the research, he develops research through the Methodologies of Narrative Production with students of the LICENA Course at UFV, as well as schools in the Rio Doce region. In Extensão, he supervises the implementation of the Guidelines for Field Ed. And Agroecology in public schools in the field and organizes the curricular internship at EFA-Paulo Freire.
