The interdisciplinarity of rural education: The case of the Nazaré Flor / Itapipoca-CE School.

Field education is the result of the struggle of peasant social movements, and it has specificities in relation to the conventional teaching model. In its curricular matrix, it provides an interdisciplinary approach, which will dialogue with the reality of the field, through the discussion of contents such as agroecology, politics, social movements, issues of gender and sexuality and valorization of northeastern culture. In this context, the present work aims to report the experience of the Nazaré Flor Field School, located in the Maceió Settlement, Itapipoca-CE, explaining its importance, activities developed and methodology adopted. During the experience it was possible to know the history, actions carried out and visit the premises of the school. And by means of this, to show the improvements that the school of the field brought to the settlement.
