Abstract

The experience report was the implementation of an Organic School Vegetable garden with agroecological principles in the Cecília Carneiro de Oliveira State School in the Municipality of Iranduba-AM. The project was developed by scholars of the Master Course in Agricultural Education of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRRJ, in agreement with the Federal Institute of Amazonas. The project had the collaboration of State and farmers organ of the region of Iranduba. The internship was supervised by Iranduba Municipal Rural Extension technicians, who elaborated the project and supervised the trainees at the School. The school had a garden, which did not go forward for reasons of technical accompaniment. Vegetable crops and crops were sown and planted annually, which the students could follow the development of the plantation and create an environment of interdisciplinarity for teachers. In the garden did not have problem of attack of plagues and diseases.
