Abstract

This work has the purpose of discovering the viability of open a rural property to the tourism in
the city of Avaré-SP. The specific objectives are to identify the visitor profile of the Avaré; find
out what activities they already do during the time that they are in the city; to determine which
activities would be most attractive for this tourist in a rural property open to tourism in the city.
For this, was applied questionnaires with visitors in strategic places. It was concluded that it
is viable to open a rural property to tourism in Avaré with activities at the family audience and
open at weekends and holidays.
