Abstract

The workshop for the elaboration of a spoken map, for the recognition of the school space,
the local community and the quality of school feeding for the children of a Primary School in
Bom Jesus da Lapa-BA, Contribute to the development and improvement of nutritional policies
for school feeding as a means of sensitizing students and parents to health care. It had as
qualitative approach, research-action modeling, for the data collection was used the spoken
map. The research at the Josino Pereira Dias School provided students with knowledge of the
school space and the community facilitated the learning of how to take advantage of backyard
foods to enrich school feeding, with a view to changing eating habits, for not only schoolchildren,
but also the community. It benefit to the productive yards in the composition of which the
food present in them can serve as school feeding.
