Graphic facilitation workshops as an empowerment tool for the protagonism of agroecological youth

Abstract

The rural youth of the Bahia agro-ecological movement are inserted in the context of serious agribusiness pressure, the capitalist system, abusive forms of cultural breakdown and land grabbing. There are many challenges in thinking of ways to integrate youth into activities that are both enjoyable and enjoyable for both parts of the community. The contribution of this experience was to provide communicative means for the protagonism of the agroecological youth of the field in the field of Educommunication focusing on the language of graphic facilitation through the rescue of the identity and ancestry of each participant. As well as contributing to the dialogue between the elders and young people of the communities. Based on participative methodologies, pedagogy-griô, and dynamics of social movements, this activity was intense and integrative for youth and community actors. Creation of symbols, bulletin boards and denunciations, empowerment of the language of graphic facilitation, were revealed by the protagonism of the youth at the end of the workshops.
