Interaction with nature among family farmers in the municipality of Serraria - PB

Abstract

Reports of farmers’ experiences return to agroecology based on the importance of these social
actors, addressing their traditional roots and cultures, strengthening the empowerment
and recognition of family agriculture. The objective of this work was to report on the dialogue
and participatory visits on the family farm site, with a survey of the trajectory read in the field
of the family farmers involved. We report the experience of three brothers-farmers living in the
municipality of Serraria - PB, who make agriculture their life projects. The systematization was
carried out from July 25 to August 11, 2015, with visits to the farmers in their ranches, encouraging
the valorization of the man and the woman of the field from their interrelations with nature
and life, encouraged by the need to Do what you really know how to do, what motivates your
life and your existence, your origins, your being.
