Abstract

The food and nutritional security (SAN) passes through the promotion of the right to a healthy, accessible, quality in sufficient quantity and permanently. The COMSEA Municipal Council of food and nutrition security of Juazeiro-BA, in 2003. The aim of this paper is to present and analyze the advances and challenges in preparing the Municipal Plan of SAN of the municipality of Juazeiro-BA in the year 2018. In this way the COMSEA comes playing more effective actions with civil society of Juazeiro, with technical visits to all agencies that work with SAN in the municipality, in order to promote the guarantee of this right, in the context of these public organizations. COMSEA representatives of Juazeiro always get involved in the actions of regional conference in SAN, State and national. Even with all the difficulties, the Council conducted the municipal conferences, managing to remain active.
