Abstract

The Bahia Productive Project (PBP) stands out as an innovative policy focused on family agriculture organizations in the State of Bahia. Since 2017 in the territory of Baixo sul, the Advisory Service for Rural Popular Organizations (SASOP) has been executing the PBP. Based on differentiated monitoring and technical assistance (ATER), the objective is to strengthen and expand within three years, the productive inclusion, management and access to markets of 24 family-based agriculture organizations, focusing on the installation and implementation of investments to support production, processing and access to markets.  The results obtained during the 1st year of PBP implementation, show the leaders of the organizations accumulating knowledge regarding resource management, articulation and dialogues with policy managers (CAR / SDR). In addition, the exchange of experience and knowledge between associations and rural community agents is contributing to strengthen an enterprise network in the territory in terms of processing and commercialization.
