Mulheres negras, empoderamento e direitos humanos: um projeto de intervenção na Comunidade Quilombola do Alagadiço

Abstract

This abstract is meant to present the intervention project "EMPODERE-SE PRETA! Pedagogical workshops on the empowerment of black women in the quilombola community of Alagadiço ", through pedagogical workshops to be held in the quilombola community of Alagadiço, located in the city of Juazeiro, Bahia, in the district of Junco, Salitre. The workshops will discuss intersectional issues between gender, race and quilombo, aimed at the women of the group contemplating their life trajectories, as political subjects who have an ancestral tradition and struggle. The project aims to encourage the empowerment of quilombola women and political recognition; to exchange and to produce knowledge about the universe that are inserted in an active way; to provoke an atmosphere in which these women can perceive actresses fundamental for the maintenance and construction of that quilombola territory.
