Abstract

Organic and agroecological street markets are an opportunity to value family agriculture though
alternative circuits of commercialization and may contribute to redesign production chains,
changingthe logic of sales in scale to the logic of diversity of products with the increase of direct
communication between producers and consumers. This study shows the experience of NEA
Avaré with organic family farmers or in agroecological transition in the city of Avaré.
