Geotinta: soil-environment relations and potentialities in the production of ecological paints

The use of natural materials to make paints and other materials are important for the use of local resources to reduce costs. Therefore, the present report is a workshop held by two students of the Agroecology course of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), Center for Social and Agricultural Human Sciences (CCHSA) at Sônia Eliane Elementary School on 8 and 9 May 2019 in the municipality of Solânea-PB. In which, procedures and techniques of making paints from soils, (geotinta), collected in the region were approached. These workshops had the objective of developing artistic, creative and motor skills, as well as stimulating the necessary knowledge to students of elementary and junior high education. And to those who offered the workshop, was the opportunity to review the concepts of sustainability intrinsic in the course of agroecology.
