Social network of the Agricultural Family School of Ibiapaba Chico Antônio Bié

Abstract

The present research sought to know the ties of the social network of the Agricultural Family School (AFS) of Ibiapaba Chico Antônio Bié, in Tianguá, Ceará, and the challenges for its self-management. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with directors of the Association of the Agricultural School of the Region of Ibiapaba (AEFARI) and pedagogical and financial coordinator of the school, and documents of the partners, from 2014 to 2018. By the end of In 2018, the social network of AFS had 39 partners, a 53.8% growth compares the network at the completion of the first class in 2016. The school is committed to building a peasant education, focused on the principles of agroecology, therefore, its consolidation is essential for rural development in the region of Serra da Ibiapaba and in the state of Ceará.
