The agroecological individual of FECAOL

Abstract

The present work is the result of the Socio-environment studies master in FLACSO Ecuador,
where it to analyze the case of FECAOL, a peasant organization in the coast of Ecuador who
works for the promotion of agroecology. From the analysis of the practices and the perceptions
of the producers, it could be possible to know the effects in the economic and social dimensions,
and how from his own experience the peasants they builted a political individual who is
oppose to the agroalimentary system, and the same time he project him self in to the construction
of autonomy.
