Abstract

The objective of this work was to understand the challenges and possibilities of sustainable
agroecological production in the settlement of Funilândia-MG municipality. Thus, several limiting
factors were identified in the construction of agroecological knowledge, and in the consolidation
of a collective and sustainable production project, and the generation of income. Among
the main results found, there was a deficiency in the solidarity bonds between settlers, water
scarcity, difficulties in access to credits, and the weakness of technical assistance offered.
