Livestock production developed by farmers of land reform in a settlement in the municipality of Confresa-MT and your relationship to sustainability

Abstract

This work aimed to describe the major farming activities developed by farmers of land reform
in a settlement in the municipality of Confresa-MT and your relationship with sustainability.
The research was developed during the months of October 2016 to January 2017. Qualitative
methodology was used by means of a semi-structured questionnaire with questions related to
the characterization of the production systems, adopted management techniques and the main
difficulties encountered by farmers. 64 settlers were interviewed between the ages of 20 and
80 years, where about 82.81% develop activities geared toward the agricultural sector and the dairy farming is not the main means of production, this serves as a source of income for most
of these. However, if the work would follow in accordance with the agroecological management
