The objective of the work was to carry out the morphobiometric characterization in Tacinga inamoena seeds. For this, the seeds were obtained from ripe fruits collected in a population in the municipality of Piranhas, State of Alagoas and then taken to the Plant Production laboratory of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, Campus Piranhas. Analyzes were carried out by measuring length, width and thickness, in addition to evaluations of the weight of a thousand seeds and moisture content. Variation in the values obtained was observed, in which the average length of the seed was 4.4 mm, with a maximum limit of 5.1 mm and a minimum of 3.7 mm. The width and thickness averaged 3.8 mm and 2.8 mm, respectively. For the width, a maximum limit of 4.6 mm and a minimum of 3.4 mm were observed. The weight of a thousand seeds was 2.64 g and the moisture resulted in 1.06%. Thus, it was concluded that T. inamoena seeds have variability in their evaluated morphobiometric characteristics.
