Manual of Agroecological Practices for Sustainable Production

The environmental impact of current productive practices on the environment generates concern
and conflicts in rural communities. The production of food in Argentina for decades has
been associated with the use of input technologies, highlighting the cause-effect relationship
and the short-term results, a reductionist view of the complexity of the systems that produce
goods and services. In this context, many educational institutions request alternative answers
and new ways of producing incorporating agroecological principles. The technical schools in
the central and southern areas of Córdoba demand support in the training and didactic materials
related to agroecological practices for sustainable production. In this sense, our research
team has produced this manual on agroecological practices, which has generated links with
the different institutions and a commitment to continuity with them.
