Positive interdependencies as facilitating the management and the use of family labor, an experience in Maranhão

Abstract

This work aims to present a family production experience in the community of Sítio Novo, municipality
of Bacabal - MA. There are showed of the sectors of production of the property that
are divided in, Cattle Raising, Poultry Creation, Crop Management, Horticulture, Fish Farming,
Orchard and Environmental Reserve, highlighting the integration between them which provide
the operation of a production system linked from positive interdependencies. It also shows
the way in which the sectors are positioned, as well as the rational and optimized use of the
available natural resources, in order to facilitate the management, reduce the family labor in
the activities, lower costs and also work from the perspective of environmental sustainability.
Therefore, it is perceived that the property constructs, based in the agroecology, a new relation
of interaction between the human being and the environment.
