Abstract

In this experience report, it is aimed to narrate the experiences that are built in a collective space with the Exchange Fair and Creole Seed Experiences - FETESC, in the Lower South of Bahia, at IFBAIANO - Campus Valença, over three versions, since 2017, growing in relevance, participation and scope. Seeking greater visibility of the work of the protagonists of resistance, use and reproduction of Creole seeds in the interior of Bahia, helping to conserve the plant and animal genetic heritage and the historical-cultural and sacred heritage of the peoples of that territory. Still with timid empowerment of social movements within a Federal Teaching Institution, but with deep roots in the realization of an event that exposes the seed production from our people, expanding the concept of seed from everything that is launched to the land to germinate, to everything that is reproduced, vegetable seeds, animal seeds, historical-cultural seeds, ancestral seeds.
