Abstract

The presente work reports the experiences of work that the Pastoral Commission of the Land CPT-Araguaia develops in the rescue of Creole seeds, through data collection, in the communities that are monitored. Through the foundations of the agroecology of organizational protagonism and mobilization. The work developed contributes to the creation of spaces for discussion and exchanges of experiences between farmers. It is observed that Creole seeds, recognized as heritage of humanity, are the object of struggles of farmers and farmers in various places in Brazil and the world and that CPT-Araguaia has stood out for inspiration for institutions, movements and social actors to plan and carry out research, rescue, events, parties and fairs in favor of the maintenance of Creole seeds and sustainable agriculture. This work was focused on the forms of work developed by the CPT, through bibliographic research and documentary research, in goals, in activity reports, articles published on websites, in semiannual meetings.
