Keywords:
Creoule seeds; Rescue; SINTRAF.Abstract
This expanded summary is based on my Course Conclusion Paper which is the first historigraphic paper about the creoule seeds from Anchieta – SC. In this paper, I will analyze the historical process of rescue of creoule seeds, realized in the city, by Worker Union of Family Agriculture (SINTRAF), that has repercussed and still reverberates nationally and internationally. The temporal focus is between the years of 1996 until 2002. There is the contextualization and discussion of the relationship of residents with these seeds, as well as the impacts of the Green Revolution on sustainable family farming and the social movements that organized to reverse these impacts. Environmental History is the discipline that underlines this Course, and it still has interdisciplinary references and oral and icnographic sources.
