The conservation and preservation of Creole seeds is a reality in many rural and quilombola communities, a way to conserve the genetic, social and historical material of these locations. The Sítio Veiga quilombola community is made up of families, who live on subsistence agriculture and keep their slave roots and ancestral culture alive. The objective is to record and describe the interaction of quilombolas with Creole seeds and their importance for the posteriority of the place. Our method is based on the case study, through an observation visit and data collection, analysis and interpretation of the material found. The history of occupation and resistance of the inhabitants of this Quilombo and the construction of the seed house as a form of resistance to the culture of agribusiness and to a policy that never integrated man to the land. The information provided us with the dimension of how families that still resist in the countryside have to live with difficulties and the uncertainty of tomorrow.
