Abstract

The objective of this article is to highlight considerations about food on the table at this time of pandemic, from the perspective of Agrobiodiversity, Agroecology and Food Sovereignty. The research is methodologically based on a critical narrative bibliographic review. The study demonstrated that these three elements go beyond agrifood systems, they are of fundamental importance in the face of COVID-19, as they are part of a holistic movement that allows hope for new scenarios. It is therefore necessary to promote Family Farm and the awareness of its essentiality with a focus on mitigating social vulnerabilities, as this allows for quality food for all spaces and social scales. The triad discussed in this study is a powerful tool for contributing to combat evils and weaknesses in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
